Can anyone tell me if there is a way of hideing certain addresses from the GAL?
There are certain users (unreachable managers) who do not want their addresses or presence known to the other staff (plebs).

Thank you.

Yeah you can do this on the server. On each mailbox there is a tab called Advanced. On this tab is a checkbox you can tick that says 'Hide from Address Book'.

Oh yeah i had a look around in there, not sure how i missed that.

Thanks.

Is my Exchange setup differently? as I tried that and as well as hiding the mailbox from GAL, it also disabled it. I would test it first before doing, just a thought! Slán agus beannacht.

I did test it and it seems that OWA no longer works for that recipient can anyone shed any light on this.

Thanks.

If a mailbox is hidden then OWA will not work, it will only be able to authenticate against non-hidden mailboxes.

I take it there is no answer to my problem then?
