GL transaction listing

Hi, when i moved from year 2010 into 2011, my opening balance (2011) in GL transaction listing (for a specific account) did not match the closing balance in 2010. The difference is huge between the two balance. How can i solve this problem.

Check for transactions in the 2010 Closing and Adjustment periods.

Thank you for your reply. I performed a DB update: replaced the 2011 opening balance with 2010 closing balance. However, i believe this is not a long term solution.

Could you provide more detail with respect to your answer.

You did what?!? A DB update? Did you run Data integrity afterwards?
