I have a company that when i run a trial balance report under the GL module, everything comes up zeroes.All GL reports come up zeroes. What repair utility should be run to attempt to correct this issue?
There is no repair utility that will correct this issue.
1. Have you edited any of the reports? Sometimes adding a table will result in no data if not linked correctly.
2. Are you sure there is data there.
3. Are you sure your data is in the date range you enter.
4. Have you worked with your reseller.
thanks.. the data was gone, had to be restored from backup. Where do I find the "retain transaction history"? under company maintenance? I believe it is set wrong, thats why the data was missing..
Enter a number from 01 through 99 that represents the number of years to retain general ledger history. General ledger history includes the period summary posting history, the transaction detail posting history, the budget detail by period history, and the source journal history.
Note: Entering 01 retains only the current year's information.
