GL Postings

Hi All,

I have a strange scenario.

There is a certain account that has double postings one posting from the correct batch and the other from a wrong batch.

E.g
1.When i drilled down to one transaction of that account it shows one posting from batch '10111' posting sequence '2000' with the amount '10000' which is correct.

2.But there is also another transaction as follows batch '10111' posting sequence '1980' with the amount '10000' which is wrong. The batch that has posting sequence '1980' does not have that transactions.

Check your work, nobody else is reporting any such "double posting" problem. If there's one thing Sage ERP does right, it's G/L batches.

Agreed, GL is 100% bullet proof.

I have attached a screen shot of an example of what am talking about,i also believe GL is 100% but i can't understand the situation.

On the screen shot there are two duplicate entries ,for batch NO.'009689' each with a different posting sequence '2304' which is wrong and '2312' which is correct.
