We are experiencing a huge dilema today as we have noticed that posted transactions have disappeared. I looked at the tables for journal entries GLJED and see the transactions for an account and when you look at the details in that account there is nothing in it. The GLPOST table does not have theses journal entries in it. Would anyone know what might have happened to cause this issue and how to fix it. We are using ACCPAC Advatage Series GL5.2 Service Pack 3 and MS SQL. Thank you.

Things don't disappear on their own.
Did someone delete a batch?

That is what we were thinking has happened but how could we find out if someone had deleted the information.

Look at the GL batch list for Deleted batches.

That is why it is so funny to look into because all the journal entry's and batches are there but nothing is in the accounts. It is as if soemone went into the GLPOST table and deleted the information in the accounts that have been messed up. We want to know if it is an employee that did this or is a process we run that did it.

What is the batch status?
Have you checked for an error batch if the batch has been posted?
