GL Consolidation issue

Hi,
We currenlty have one company that is using gl consolidation 5.3, when we export the file and import the file into the company that is using GL consolidation 55a we always have to edit and make changes to this file for us to import in. Some common issues is it adds spaces or special characters to the file. Until we upgrade the 5.3 database is there a simpler work around?

Probably not. You could have someone write a macro or batch file to do the editing for you as a temporary workaround.

Both need to be on the same version, there are differences in import file layout.
