GL Batch Error

hi, can someone please help me with this "GL Batch error".

Actually, my company's fiscal year ended dec 2008 & i just added new year 2009 (without

doing year end procedures ; to finish it may be later). But when i posted all my payables &

receivable batches to GL, & then tried to post these batches in GL, this error keeps coming

by generating error batch in the GL. Message says,"Errors found during G/L posting

sequence 127. Check the G/L error batch 132 and G/L journal error report for details."

i don't know wat to do??? Please help me

You must create a new your in the GL before you can post 2009 transactions.

And just to add - you can still post to 2008 in case you aren't finished with it yet.
