GJUL4 ROF 137 5393/1 & /2 1

Is it possable to convert a GJUL4 ROF 137 5393/1 to a /2 with just a firmware change?

we have a faulty GJUL4 ROF 137 5393/2, but only /1's avalable as present as spares, I'd like to confirm the we should be able to just replace the firmware chip (and Label of course)on the /1 to make it a /2 , e.g. take the firmware chip from our faulty /2 and put it on the /1 (presuming it is not the chip faulty).
as this would get us out os a promblem until of new replacement /2 is delivered

/2 has more hardware on it for the 2nd connection for Duplicated Group Switch so can not change with a prom.If you are not using Duplicated Group Switch you can use /1 no trouble
