Do you think it is appropriate to give a client their data structure for free?
We have built and housed a data mart of their data warehouse for simple access to their data. Now they are asking for the relationship and data structure. Should we place a fee on this?

Did they pay you to build the structures and relations? If yes charge them a reasonable fee for the time you spend documenting it and give it to them. If no charge them an unreasonable fee for documenting it and give it to them. It's their data after all.
