I have a Linux RedHat server running Samba acting as a Domain controler for my Windows workstations. I am trying to migrate those user over to a new Windows 2003 Server. Microsoft says that I can use the ADMT program to do the job but it requires the Administrator user to have root access on the samba domain. I have the Administrator user added to Linux (passwd) and samba (smbpasswd) but I can't figure out how to give that user root access (Domain Admins, Administrator, Root).

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks.
