Gigabyte GA-7ZXE & Win2K

Problems with Computer running Win2k on a Gigabyte GA-7ZXE mobo, and 512 Kingston SDRAM. Other hardware includes: Geforce3 TI200 vidcard, DVD Decoder, Audigy soundcard, Acer CD-ROM, and LG 16x CD-RW. We finally got Win2K to boot, but when it does, it stops right after you login. It goes to load personal settings, and throws up an error stating there was a problem loading "explorer.exe." It throws up a few others after that as well. We tried the HD in a similarly configured system, and it booted fine. We are thinking it is a problem with the mobo, what do you think?
