Giga bit Switch

Hello!!

Has anyone out there used the giga bit switch?

If you have, can you tell me your experience with it.

Is it reliable and does it solve the bottleneck problem when trying to get to the server?

Do you have to use special Cat5 cables for the full effect.

We use a CISCO giga bit switch for faster connections on our long extensive cable runs. Makes for a faster more reliable network.
