To use a .GIF file as an image on a form, add an Image control from the controls toolbar.

In the properties of Image1 set .Picture to be the .GIF file thus:-

THISFORM.Image1.Picture = [MyPicture.gif]

If the .GIF file is animated, the animation will not work.

How can i make it move during loading?

Not too sure what you mean but you could position it by:-

WITH THISFORM.Image1
[tab].Left = 10
[tab].Top = 20
ENDWITH

What you can't do is animate it.

An image control is not an OLE control. It sounds as though you may have selected the wrong control.

August, not OLE, but ActiveX control.
Try to use Internet Explorer ActiveX object as browser, but without any other features and specifying as URL just a GIF image.
In addition, you may try to search Internet for third-party ActiveX controls used to show animated GIF image. [sig]
Vlad Grynchyshyn
vgryn@softserve.lviv.ua
[/sig]
