Does anyone know whether it is possible to have a .gif (animated) file in a form displayed. You are able to attach an animated gif file to a form to be displayed but it doesn't animate.
Anyone know whether it is possible to have an animated gif file displayed and (animating) in a form)
(trying to make an Access database more appealing) :)
Thanks

I believe a similar question was posted in the MS Office forum and the answer was that animations were not supported.
If you don't have a life...
use the timer event to cycle through a series of bit maps to create your own animations.
Or, stick to pretty pictures! :)

When you attach a picture you can set the OLE class - if it is supported. I embedded a flash movie which was seen as OLE class flash so it recognised it, but when I tried to run the form it didn't work.
Has anyone embedded objects that are not microsoft and/or access objects?
