.gif file logo does not display!?

I have to insert logo - .gif file, but it give me message this file is not supported. I tried to save it as .jpeg, .jpg, .png file, but it gives me message that file is not supported. I simply opened this .gif file, copied and pasted in my Crystal Report, and it displays OK. But when I integrate this file into the application, I cannot see this logo - it does not display.

Did somebody have this problem?
