GIF Animation prog??

Currently looking at Gamani's GIF MOVIE GEAR v4.1.1 demo version to use with Dreamweaver. This looks what I need. However, my needs for a programme of this type are very few and far between, and I'm quite sure the 30 days of the demo will be well and truly gone by the time I ever need to use it again.

Are there any Freeware progs of this type that someone can recommend?
