Is this a good idea to ghost a harddisk which already has some bad sectors? Will this effect the quality of my image when it's loaded onto a new hard disk. Thanks in advance.

DON'T !!!!!

If Ghost itself doesn't already stop you, YOU should.
Fix the drive first with a chkdsk or scandisk before Ghosting!!!

Oh yeah I've reformatted the drive already and ran through the chkdsk feature. I just wasn't sure if ghosting it would bring along bad information to my new disk.

It would, but it should also detect them and abort.
