About 3 weeks ago I got an e-mail on my BB from my wife that I hadn't seen in my inbox on my docked laptop. I was in the office, so I was receiving e mails on my laptop and on in my holster.

I thought it curious that I hadn't seen the message in outlook, so I opened it and read it on the handheld. It seemed familiar (the wife telling me about a great buy she had found on some shelves we needed for the house) and when I looked at the date, the e mail was from about 3-4 weeks prior. I looked in my outlook and there the message was and not only had I opened it back then, I had replied to it.

Well, today at 5:45 I received an e mail and when I opened it it didn't make much sense so as I examined it more, I discovered that it was from May 13. What made it seem odd was that it was a message to myself from my earthlink account where I had sent a link from my personal laptop via earthlink to my business e-mail account. So it was from me to me, just different e mail accounts.

What would causes random older e mails in my outlook inbox to be sent to my handheld?

If you don't have wireless synchronization, perhaps when you sync with your laptop the BB receives the old mail it has not received prior?

I think I figured this out. These were e mails that I had found in my delete box that I had decided to rescue and move back to my inbox. I hadn't associated that with the fact that they showed up shortly after on my BB. I sis it again yesterday and recognized it when it arrived.
