ghost connection

I have installed Windows NT 4.0 with service pack 6a, Proxy server 2.0 and IIS. While i'm not using any internet service like Internet explorer or Outlook, the dial up monitor reports an outgoing connection in process using my internet connection but if I examine current sesion in IIS console there's no one reported. The connection persist for 2 minutes and then automatically hangs. I have seted my internet conecction to hang after 30 seconds inactive. Can someone help me.

Are you using the proxy client software ?
