Ok I've been pulling my hair out ovr this one...

Basically I have a hunt group of two users set up each with their own DDI number assigned to their extension via ICR. They are set to bounce to the other as fallback extension after a period of time of no answer...

A lot of the time the phone calls come through fine, however occasionally one of the users will answer the phone and get a busy tone to which the call will bounce to the other hunt group member, the busy tone will appear again and the call will drop and register as a Lost call in CCR, today we've had 8! Yet the two users in question have said they have had no complaints of not being able to get through...

I have already tried the following:
- Created new extensions and hunt group
- Removed bouncing functionality
- Tried new profiles.

All to no avail...

Any ideas?? =)

Thanks.

What type of lines?
SIP to analogue handoff?

Verizon needs to turn off MWI or VMWI. Every now and then, like once an hour, the carrier sends a message wait indication which trips the ring circuitry of the IP Office.
Once an hour- 8 hours at work- happened 8 times.....

Otherwise:
1) Use monitor with your line filter and targeting filter and Prefix YY-MM-DD. Give the customer a shortcode for a timestamp and instruct them on how to use it so it highlights in monitor when the issue occurs. Have them note down the time according to the time on their handset and you'll be able to dig through and find it.

2) Also set system status to log to file and you'll be able to observe the issue in real time.

I'm clear but my fighter is down.
