Anyone ever heard of 7316e's coming off hook via speaker and dialing numbers. Customer swears he witnessed this and people are telling him they are getting calls from his place at all hours. I had to replace a 0x16 not too long ago because phones on it were losing power. He claims the same phones are doing this ghost calling. So I replaced the 0x16 again last week and seems to have fixed the problem.

Yes I have heard of this, resolution not defined, system 6X16.
Just some bug caused by hardware sounds like.

If happens again you should find out if those numbers are programmed in system/user speed dials and or auto dial keys or if it was the last number dialed from that set.

Made in China".

I've had more out of the box issues since manufacture went overseas. Hopefully that will change with the new management.

I don't think they used any kind of speed dialing or auto dial keys. Maybe last number? Thanks for confirming. I thought they were crazy or trying to get something free. I may put an SMDR on them next time to see what is really happening. Thanks again.
