We have put all IT staff into a hunt group for IT support but depending on staffing levels the IT staff member will activate GHD on key2. This is a decent solution but poses one obvious problem whereby we cannot see if the members have activated ghd (becuase they are dispersed across multiple countries) . How can I query the system to seehwich extensions have activated the ghd (or even any other function for example MSB)

Thanks guys.

Hi Peter

We had the same problem a while back. Only way we found was to jump into LD 80 and TRAC <tn> the extensions to look for GHD key being active (or CFW key as this also removes them from the hunt group). Obviously this is going to be quite difficult across multiple switches/sites/contries.

To be fair, hunt group and GHD key is not really the solution if monitoring staff presence and status is a requirement. Using ACD & a Supervisor set setup to monitor the extensions or a Contact Centre solution would be a much easier - costs hell of a lot more too :-(

ATB,
Richard
