I am using Arcserve 7.0/2000 SP4 to backup all my Windows servers using a basic GFS rotation; M-Th incrementals, F fulls.

Exchange 2000 database and "brick-level" mailbox backups need to be added. I would like to use the GFS schedule for the Exchange database files, but I would like to perform "brick-level" backups only once a week. Would this be possible while using a single GFS rotation, or must I create a new job?

TIA

I don't believe you will be able to do different types of Exchange backups using the same GFS job. To perform db level backups on some days and brick level on other days you will need to have at least two jobs; one for each type of backup.
