Hi,

Does anyone know the difference between g95 and gfortran?

Is one of them clearly better or different?

Thanks,

Gerrit

gfortran is gcc based.

g95 uses some gnu bits but is not gcc based.

They're just two separate developments. I use G95 as I find it easier to set up but that is a personal thing and nothing to do with the package or usability of the compiler.

Thanks!

I tried G95 in the mean time and compiling a mixed F77 F95 code I get the message:

Warning: Deleted Feature: PAUSE statement at (1)

Is the command PAUSE suddenly not allowed anymore? What should be the new command? I thought PAUSE was standard F77, isn't it?

It seems that I had an old version of G95. In the latest version the PAUSE error doesn't occur.

Sorry for bothering ye :)
