I recently changed my hardare.
After reinstallation of Windows2000Pro - SP2, and the latest drivers for the motherboard and video display adapter, I changed my resolution to my preferred settings (1280 X 960).
Working on this I noticed that sometimes sparkling pixels remain on screen. This is weird as I had not these kind of problems before.
Install the latest via drivers, change in bios
AGP to 2X and latest W2K Nvidia driver.
The hardware change was motherboard / CPU / memory and hard disk combination.
