gf4 mx440 + aopen ax6bc problems

Hi I have a gf4 mx440 + aopen ax6bc pro, 384 ram. and have been having problems with windows. My computer keeps locking up everytime i run anything using opengl or directx,
its quite strange this though, i can play a game once after bootup , but when i exit and start another or the same one it locks up entirely. I have tried about 30 different video drivers under xp to see if this overcomes the problem but alas to no avail. I have also tried installing win2k , but this is even worse as i have only found 1 video driver which win2k will boot when its running and its a beta driver.
I tried the video card in a different machine and it ran fine no lockups with latest nvidia drivers, i also ran with less memory , different memory and same problems. I tried a radeon 8500le , which crashed just the same if not more so.( ie crashed on bootup for a while). I have the latest bios flashes on all equipment and drivers i could find. This is extremely frustrating for me, any help would be greatly appreciated

When you installed all these drivers,did you completely remove the previous ones? If not,then that's your problem.
Do a search for a program called NVunin.exe and use that to uninstall your drivers.
