the report works fine on crystal reports xi, but when i put in the crystal enterprise and run it i get an error
on my main report and sub report link

Error Message: Error in File D:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11\Data\procSched\dhs-crp-01svr.reportjobserver\~tmpd5c4f47833c7978.rpt: Error in formula <Record Selection>. '{Command.cs_id} = {?Pm-Command.cs_id}' This field name is not known. Details: errorKind

Can you successfully run the SQL from the Command through another tool (such as MS Query, SQL Plus or similar) from the server upon which BOE XI is installed.

To be a fair test, it must be run from the BOE XI server, not a client.

what would they need to do to the BOE XI server for my main and subreport to work

if i dont use the sub report ,it runs fine on enterprise

i can run the report in query analyzer, but i run the sub report and main report separately in the query analyzer

OK, good work. This proves that the queries from the report and the subreport are fundamentally OK.

The original error is highlighting that the problem lies with the link between the main report and the subreport.

Try deleting the subreport link which contains the {?Pm-Command.cs_id} paramter and recreating the link between the main report and the subreport again.

Republish it and try again.
