Hi

Can somebody help me to get the Year also listed, when I give 'last' command?

I am confused with some entries like 2002 Jan 10 or 2004 Jan 10

Thanking you

AGN.

What version and bitness (32 or 64) of AIX are you running?

I've written parsers for the utmp formats in 4.3.3 and 5.1 32-bit and can post the code for either if you can use them.

Modification for 64-bit 5.1 should be simple, but I'd have no way of testing it.

Hi RodKnowlton,

We got 4.3.3 and 32bit. From your relpy I guess it is not possible by any available options in 'Last' command. We have to use our on scripts... Thank you very much for the information
