Getting XML to show as HTML output

Hey guys! I've been playing around with XML over the past couple of days, and I have run into a problem. I think all my coding is fine, but I can't figure out how to make Internet Explorer display my pages as regular output rather than as highlighted code (you know, where you can expand and contract groups, and stuff?). I've made the XML file that contains content and a stylesheet (XSL) file that contains the layout, and neither one gives me an error when I open it in Internet Explorer. But, like I said, both just show up as code. Any tips? Would this problem be related to problem(s) with the code, or is it some kind of Internet Explorer setting?
