i have just started noticing this *odd* phenomenon...when i mouseover an image, in addition to the regular tool tip (alt/title) there is this add on:

"...Shift+R improves the quality of this image. CTRL+F5 reloads the whole page."

i don't know where this is coming from...whether it's spyware, virus, etc?????

i tried searching all the files on my comp for anything containing "improves the quality" figuring there has to be a file somewhere that generates this extra tip...but nothing was found. ran ad-aware, nothing. ran anti-virus, nothing.

i don't know what to do, or where to go. i searched on the net/google, and found only 4 references to this occurence, and nobody knows anything about it.

i hadn't changed my system pre-occurrence, although i ripped some music from a cd, and i also accidently opened an email i didn't recognize (and quickly closed/killed it)...obviously either of these may be the culprit, but i can't find anything on my comp referencing this phrase/file...

using IE6 on a win2k laptop with an aircard for inet access...

any ideas?
