Hi,

I tried to manually start a job from Enterprise
Manager and got
' Error 22022: Unable to post notification to SQL
ServerAgent (reason: MapViewOfFile() returned error
8, 'Not enough storage is available to process this
command')

This happens quite often. Every time I have to re-start
the server to work around it.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

Hey mmuzaffar,

Have you checked the space free in the MSDB database - one reason for the error could be it is full.

Rgds,

M.

Thanks Mutley for your reply, i have checked both data and transaction logs are set to auto grow so i dont think it is problem also the same job some time runs fine and some time gives the above error message and fails.
i tried but didnt found any clue so far, any help in this regards is appreciated
