I am creating a report in CR9 - and it is getting a bit complicated (for me anyway..!)

Due to the way that it is set up - to ensure that data is excluded / included the returning data is placed in a group header (is this right..?) instead of the details.

I have had to create a group that shows the age - after finding the correct formulea here..!

Now I need to know how many people are of a set age - I cannot seem to get my head around it.

Any ideas..?

Thanks

In Crystal 8.5, you could do running totals for each age range. Is this what you want?

Post a new thread about it, unless someone else replies soon. How to do running totals in CR9, which I don't have.

If you have not found out how to do running totals in CR9
follow these steps

1. Look in your field explorer and there is a option to that says "Running Total Fields"

2. Right Click and select "New"

3. In the first field, name your formula

4. Fill in the rest of the information.

Remember, when you dealing with running totals, it is important to place the formula in a footer section, otherwise, it does not calculate properly.

Hope that helps
