This is on a CCM 3.3, user was able to fwd to a number on 7940. But can't fwd on ccm user page. It gives error 'CDBLException Dump: [COM Error] COM Error Description = [CNumPlanTRules::UpdateNumPlan Invalid pointer; [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 67 generated fatal exception c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server is terminating this process. ]'.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure he is trying to fwd to a valid/proper number? And that the user is associated with the correct phone?
Other than the obvious misconfiguration issues he's going to have to live with it as the version has been end of life and support for a number of years now.

Yes, I tried myself also. User was able to fwd the number on the physical phone, but not on the webpage..
thanks for your input..

you probably are running into a 3.3 bug and there were tons of them.

Now i see Cisco extended functions is deactivated in serivice activation. It gives a error 'cisco dialed number analyzer error:16389, this service doesn't exist in the win2k service control manager' when I try to activate.. Does Cisco extended function has anything to do with forwarding calls? thanks.

no it does not. Extended functions were an additional piece that had to be installed back in the 3.X days but not related to forwarding.
