Getting screen resolution!

Is there any way to get the screen resolution before loading the background so as to load the proper sized background?

screen.height and screen.width gives total resolution of screen<br>screen.availHeight and screen.availWidth gives available desktop space(accounts for taskbar office toolbar etc...)<br><br>these will work for ie4+&nbsp;&nbsp;or nn 4+<br><br>hope this helps<br><br>-Chris<br>
