Getting rpcbind errors

We are getting these messages in the syslog. What causes them?

rpcbind: non-local attempt to unset
rpcbind: non-local attempt to set

We are running IRIX 6.5.7.

have you tried running rpcbind in debug mode? (with the -d option) Mike
