After running some scripts through my server I noticed some weird residual files that I assume the server meant to be temporary. However, on occasion they do not get removed. Is there any way to prevent this?

Well, I tried, but it seems they disappear now.

The file is named something like cgitemp or something similar.

I think they only stay there (and start taking up space) if you close apache before the script finishes.

The script I am running receives data from a form and either generates a file based on it or prints something to the screen (lot's of data).

I don't want these cgitemp files collecting up and taking up space if I can prevent it.
