Does anyone know how to remove the searchv.com hijack from a W2k Pro computer? I have tried various recommendations but every time I reboot the computer it changes the homepage back to

If you have coolweb - which you have - you probably have others as well.
Then so that we can check if anything is left
Please Download hijackthis from
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
After the scan has finished the "scan" button will turn into a "save log" button
save the log file and paste it here
Do not delete anything yet, as most things hijackthis finds are harmless and needed.
