This might not be the right forum to ask this question but i didn't know where to ask it.

I am using a computer with both Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape 4.7 installed. I want to get rid of Netscape 4.7 completely.

I have already uninstalled it but when i try to open an html file it looks for Netscape. I have already set IE as my default browser but to no avail.

I prefer IE because it executes faster then Netscape and IE can save whole web pages so that i can view them offline.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

don't know if this will help, but try changing the file assosciation for html files. right click your mouse while holding down the shift key on an html file, and choose open with.
