I am going to 'save for web' and exporting my text from ps as a gif (dithered 128) It is going on to dreamweaver with a transparent background beautifully, except there is a jagged glow around each of the letters. Is there a way to remove that either in ps or in the save for web dialogue box?

Thanks for all help.

what color is the background of the file you are putting the gif on?..see in the save for web options under gif 128 no dither where it says matte?.under there you can choose the color to match the background of the file you are placing it on..choose other color and type in your hexidecimal #..that way it will make the little white pixels around your image the same color of the file it's placed on..might help..

if not save it as a .png file under save for web options..get's rid of the white pixels, but makes the file size bigger..
