Howdy All . . .

I hope I'm in the right forum for this. Statistics for the machine in use are as folows:

Manufacturer: Hewlett Packard Compamy

Memory (RAM): 6.00 GB
System type : 64-bit Operating System
OS : Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2

For the longest, msinfo32 has been showing a number of conflicts/sharing items for this machine. Because of problems with media center I'm directly concerned with the following conflict/shares (note the highlighted hardware):

I think thats a little too much conflict/share for the graphics card, which is involved in the equivalent of streaming. The problem at hand is that the [blue]video stutters[/blue] (audio is just fine). I would like to isolate the IRQ and the other resources as well. However the [gray]Use automatic settings[/gray] text & checkbox are [gray]grayed out![/gray]

How do I disable [gray]Use automatic settings[/gray]?

strongm . . .

I"m not believing its a conflict either. Just wanted to check if I could change it ... easy enough. I was suspecting the video driver or perhaps a codec, but the driver has been updated ans symptoms are still the same:

Runs fine for about 15 to 20 minutes then the video stutters endlessly. Its sooooo annoying.

Thanks for the references [thumbsup2]
