Getting related image fileds to show up on custom or instant web pages

I have a FMP5 database published online but can't get the images (stored in a related database) that correspond to each record to show up at all. They only show up if they are put in a container field in the original database. At the moment the images are imbedded in container fields in the related database and I'd like to keep it this way. This has been an ongoing problem - has anyone any ideas?

Sarah:
Related images wont display on the web. Instead of embedding the picture in the container field, store a link to that file.

/images/image name
