Getting "403 Forbidden"

HTTP Error 403
403.1 Forbidden: Execute Access Forbidden

I received this error message in response to requesting default.asp, what could be the cause for this? Isn't it something with directory permissions on IIS? Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly. ---
