I am getting following error while running the crystal report:
"Query Engine Error: Error Code; 0x
Failed to open a rowset
Error in the file: file name
Query Engine Error"

Can anyone please let me know why i am getting this error and how can i fix it? And i am using SQL server 2005 and using stored procedure.

Thanks in Advance

Can you run SQL on its own? Try copying the Stored Procedure and tracking it down there.

One other wild idea: try Database > Verify Database. It would probably make no difference but is a small task.

It may also be the Crystal report's access rights or the database it is looking at.

It helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.
