getting Permanent error 11001 (non-existent host or domain) resolving

hello all, I'm getting the message:

Permanent error 11001 (non-existent host or domain) resolving 'pmail.gen.nz'.

of course it's with anything, not just pmail.gen.nz
I'm recieving email just fine, but it always kicks back
all outgoing mail....hitting my head against the freakin wall.

Hello there, I am having the same problem with Mercury, but only with mails to foreign countries??? So .nl is ok (We are Dutch), but the rest seems to be giving problems.

Help anyone?
