I'm looking for a way to include content from my site in someone else's page, regardless of whether they're running IIS or some other web server. For example, my customer has a page that generates a header, then my contents, then a footer. My contents are retrieved from a SQL server database from an ASP page.

The only way I've been able to accomplish this is with frames. Is there any other way? I've looked into server side includes, but discovered that method won't work.

Any Ideas?

If your basically looking for strictly an html based answer without any server-side scripting, then no, using frames is the only sane way.

Insane ways including things like writing files to the clients remote server, etc.

Now if they are running a specific web server you can make two solutions, one in ASP and one in PHP, which should cover your bases no matter what web server they are running.
