getting message when accessing the switch thru the elan 1

i have a opt 11 5.50j that is working fine. they are using an hms400 for vm and tm for switch access. i am connecting the tm to the switch via a crossover cable. when we use the tm to connect to the switch we are getting a message, com 0 ethernect restarting constantly scrolling on the screen. we are still able to connect and do work but the error keeps getting kicked out. need to find reason and stop. any help would be much appreciated.

disregard....found out that the new transceivers need to be set to half duplex, they come defaulted as full deplex.
