Getting MESSAGE WAITING FOR YOU to display on 7208 set

I have 2 MICS 7.1 networked together locally with a centralized NAM voice mail 4.1. I can not seem to get the MWI to display on the 7208 sets. I have checked F#806 to make sure that the static time is not set. This is a set that is on system B so they have to actually dial the DN for the NAM they can not use F981. Everything else works ok just seems that the NAM is not able to get the signal to display MESSAGE WAITING FOR YOU on the set.

Is this happening with all 8 button sets or just the one? If it's just the one then try swapping it out with a known working one.

It is only on one DN, set has been swapped, this site has been in service for about 3 years with about 200 sets which are all working properly with MWI. MCDN was installed on initial installation. MWI is programmed for the MB on the NAM. I remember that there was some strange thing that needed to be done to fix this years ago but I forgot what it was. Might have been with the Message Center feature if that helps.. Some signal is not getting to the set to turn on the MWI.

It sounds like somebody accidently turned on static time "Feature 806" try and turn it off with "Feature #806" and see if that rstores the message for you indicstor.

He already did f#806 and still no dice. Do a set copy from a known working set and see if that fixes it.

Might have been with the Message Center feature if that helps.

Have a look at the following settings:

Lines > [Target line] > Telco Features > Voice Message Center
Terminals & Sets > [DN] > Telco Features > Feature Assignment > [Target line] > External Voice Message Set​

You can try to compare a target line (and its set) that works with the one that doesn't.
