On most Unix flavours the sar -r command will give you real memory usage, but this does not appear to be the case on AIX. I checked the man page and I don't see another option to get real memory stats.
I know you can use vmstat to get memory stats, but unlike sar you can only get current stats and not historical stats. I need to be able to produce reports including memory usage.
Does anyone know if there is a sar option that will give me what I am looking for. Or is there another way to record and recall real memory usage?
Thanks,
Mark
