getting level 7 password

Not sure what you mean by 'Global User mode'
If you mean Privileged exec mode (ENA from a '>' prompt , which brings up '#') then enter SH Ru (Show Running Config) then all the encrypted passwords are shown - Usernames are shown in the top section before the interfaces.
If this isn't of help then you will have to reset the password using 'Recovering a Lost password' Section of the 'Troubleshooting the Cisco 1700' chapter in the Cisco Documentation CD or
and then look at the config.
