We have a vb application(that uses Ole automation) that
does pinning, getting latest and few other things in vss.
Having a problem with Getting latest version when the file
is pinned at a previous version. Ex: If a file is
pinned @ version 5, and this file has versions until 8.
When we use get latest via automation application, we are getting
version 8 instead of version 5. This problem did not exist
in VSS 5.0. If a pin exists on a file, and we issue a
get latest, we should get the pinned version and not the
tip at command prompt or using automation or VSS GUI. VSS GUI and command prompt are working as intended but Via automation we do not get the pinned version, we are getting the tip. Is there a flag we need to set in our vb application
to make this work as intended??
